April 20 – T-shirt Design Entry Deadline

May 25 – Local Legends Sponsor Deadline (Call 803-276-2957 or 803-276-0625)

May 2 – Applications Begin Appearing in Newberry Observer

June 22 – Application Deadline – NOT POSTMARKED BY JUNE 22
(NO LATER THAN 6PM ON JUNE 22 at our WKDK Studios, 3000 Hazel Street)

June 27-July 5 weekdays – 2006 LL Finalist Review (What have they been up to?)
Hand Picked by Heather at 10:35 AM
( re-aired 7:35 AM the following weekday morning)

July 9 – Concert Tickets go on sale 803-276-6264 or at www.newberryoperahouse.com. Concert/Finalists to be Announced article in Observer & on www.wkdk.com.

July 9–July 19 weekdays – Finalists are announced - Hand-Picked by Heather (10:35 AM) (re-aired the following weekday morning at 7:35 AM)

July 20 – Local Legends Tab Comes Out in the Observer /
A special Local Legends 2007 Finalists Review Show aired during the 9 AM Coffee Hour

July 20 – Voting Begins at 10 AM on www.wkdk.com and Ballot begins appearing in the Observer (ballot appears in every Observer through July 30)

July 31 – Voting Ends at 6 PM on www.wkdk.com;
all ballots due at 3000 Hazel St. no later than 6 PM (not postmarked by July 31)

August 3 – Announce 2007 winner during the 9 AM Coffee Hour & in The Observer.

Featuring all of the 2007 finalists
The Newberry Opera House (7 PM) - Cost: $8

Following the concert - Local Legends 2007 After Party
$5 Cover / $10 Combo ticket (Concert + After Party)
