Sarah
Ann Moseley (featured song Leave the Pieces) – Sarah
is a 15-year-old sophomore at Newberry High School. She often performs
with the Newberry Community Players. She is in the high school chorus
and the chancel choir at Central United Methodist Church. She has taken
guitar at Munson Music since she was 7 or 8. Sarah has just returned
from her second summer at Governor’s School for the Arts. She loves
rock, folk and especially country music.

Brett
Dukes (featured song Simple Man) – Brett grew up in
Newberry performing in community theater. Musicals were his favorite.
Very active in his church (Central United Methodist Church), he would
like to thank them for nurturing him and his talent with its outstanding
musicians and musical programs. Special thanks to Jed Thomas, Bonnie
Lyon, Pam Lister, Ellen Hunt, Sam Dennis, Johnny Marlowe, Lynn Grimsley,
Mary Ann Davis Hayes, Michael Koch, Bette Moseley, Merritt Moseley,
Ann Moseley, A. D. Smith, Judy Epting, the late Charles Hamby and his

Catfish
Cove (featured song Heaven Don’t Wait) – Dave Shealy
and Steve Childers have been writing together for 19 years and –in fact-
wrote their featured song. They are primarily a songwriting team. They
have performed together, as well as, separately throughout our careers.
They are looking to pitch their songs to record companies/artists.

Grand
Illusion (featured song Mustang Sally) – Grand Illusion
is an established (13 yrs.) working band. This 2003 Local Legend finalist
has performed at most venues in Newberry County, extensively across
SC and even into other states. Blair Williams, Matt Williams, Darryl
Hill, Jimmy Underwood, Merritt Moseley, Billy Summer and Larry Williams
make up this energetic variety band.

Kelly
Cheats (featured song Isabel) – Isaac Goble (guitar,
vocals), Trent Dipner (guitar, vocals), Robert Wessinger (bass), Buddy
Martell (drums) and Vidal Tapia (percussion) make up the local band
Kelly Cheats. Lead vocalist Trent Dipner wrote this jam bands’ featured
song. Influences include Blind Melon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Allman
Brothers and Maroon 5. Their live show features everything from Bill

Robbie
Madison (featured song Take Me Up) – Robbie is a junior
at Newberry College majoring in music performance (trumpet and piano).
A native of Mt. Pleasant, he has performed at numerous worship services,
luncheons, weddings, etc. since coming to Newberry College. He wrote
his featured song. “It talks of the journey of my life and at the same
time expresses my hearts desire for God to carry me in his arms forever.”

Satterfield
Brothers (featured song Carolina Country) – Marty
& Russell Satterfield grew up in a musical family and wrote their
featured song. “We have always performed songs that feature strong vocals
with guitar instrumentation. Carolina Country features both.” They have
performed in support of the Newberry High School Leah Caldwell Scholarship
Fund. They hope to resume the program in 2007.

Danielle
Shull (featured song Home Sweet Home) – Danielle often
performs with the Newberry Community Players and sings with the St.
Luke’s Episcopal Choir. Her father Andy Shull (a 2004 Local Legend finalist)
wrote her featured song. She performs everything from Broadway to Bluegrass.

WpSpires
(featured song Strong Consolation) – Will has been a closet
musician for over 20 years. He performs and writes contemporary Christian
music as well as blues and folk. He wrote his featured song. Will is
33, married with two boys. He will be performing again soon at Baked,
Brewed & Beyond in Chapin, SC.
